artist statement
"This project is the culmination of a few years of life experience and contemplation. Sharing this project is my very humble attempt to contribute positively to the personal inner landscape and our shared social field, to open up space for self-inquiry, connection, and perhaps add something of beauty. This project was birthed from my deep desire to reconnect with nature in meaningful ways. When I listen deeply to nature with my whole being, I discover and recover a sense of wholeness to what I am. When I am connected to nature I am remembering my wellness, what it feels like to be a whole and true human being. Through nature and art expression it is my wish to evoke and inspire a kind of healing, reconnection, and belonging, so that we can feel at home in our bodies, minds, hearts, and our whole selves wherever we are, whatever we are doing, and however we are being."
